Privacy Policy

1. Overview

The Weight Tracker is designed to keep your sensitive health data under your control. We do not collect, transmit, share, or sell your weight or body measurements. The app connects to Google Play and RevenueCat only for the limited purposes described below, including purchase verification and restoration.

2. Local Storage for Health Data

Everything you log in The Weight Tracker—your weight, body measurements, BMI, and daily notes—is stored exclusively on your physical device. We do not upload this health data to our servers or remote databases. Because there are no user accounts, we don't ask for your name, email, or phone number.

3. No Advertising or Analytics Tracking

We do not use third-party analytics trackers, advertising pixels, advertising identifiers, or data brokers. Your weight, body measurements, BMI, and daily notes never leave your phone. RevenueCat does not receive this health data. If you use the "Export to CSV" feature, the file is generated locally on your device.

4. Anonymous Crash Reports

To keep the app stable and bug-free, we receive strictly anonymous crash logs provided automatically by the Google Play Store (e.g., when the app freezes). These logs contain technical device info, but zero personal or health data.

5. Purchases and RevenueCat

The Weight Tracker is a one-time purchase app. Payments are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card number, bank account details, or full billing information.

We use RevenueCat to activate premium access, verify purchase status, prevent purchase-related fraud, and restore purchases. For these purposes, RevenueCat may process:

• an anonymous app user or installation identifier;
• technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, and store platform;
• purchase information, including the purchased product, entitlement status, and the last time the app was used; and
• a Google Play purchase token or other transaction information required to verify the purchase.

RevenueCat processes this information as our service provider. We do not use it for behavioral advertising or user profiling. For more information, see the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

6. Sharing and Retention

We do not sell or share your information for marketing purposes. Your locally stored health data is not sent to us, Google Play, or RevenueCat. Purchase-related and technical information may be processed by Google Play and RevenueCat only as needed to complete, verify, and restore your purchase and provide related support.

You can delete locally stored health data by clearing the app's data in your device settings or uninstalling the app. Purchase records may remain available through Google Play and RevenueCat as needed to verify and restore your purchase and in accordance with their legal and retention obligations. Service-provider data may be processed outside your country under the safeguards used by those providers.
